I’ll be a duo with Charlie Apicella at Liberty House, a “city-chic” restaurant in Jersey City serving American fare and situated right by The Statue of Liberty. With outdoor seating in the spring and summer, Liberty House offers a beautiful view of the New York City skyline and live music besides. I’ll be on guitar, harmonica and vocals as Charlie and I accompany one another on our shared repertoires. Charlie is not only one of New York City’s preeminent bebop and hard bop guitarists, he’s a former student of the late great Dr. Yusef Lateef and a staple of the city’s underground free jazz scene. This show is not to be missed.
